01 · Permission
Who may use the certification marks
Only the legal company named in a current public Proven verification record may use the certificate and certification assets supplied for that record. Permission is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and valid only for the stated company, country, activity and certification period.
Group companies, subsidiaries, brands, products, branches and individuals are not included unless their scope is expressly shown in the record.
02 · Permitted use
Clear, accurate presentation
- Display the approved digital certificate or certification badge on the certified company’s website, proposals, email signature, social channels and corporate materials.
- Use factual wording such as “Certified by Proven Companies until [date]” where it matches the public record.
- Link digital use to the company’s Proven verification profile or to the verification page.
- Use only the files and colour variants supplied or approved by Proven.
03 · Limits
What the mark must not imply
- No government, regulatory or statutory accreditation.
- No audit opinion, credit rating, guarantee of solvency or promise of future performance.
- No approval of a product, service, investment, individual or transaction.
- No certification of an unlisted affiliate, parent, subsidiary, trading name or country.
- No use that is deceptive, unlawful, defamatory or likely to undermine confidence in the certification.
- No sale, sublicensing or transfer of certification assets to another party.
04 · Design integrity
Keep approved assets intact
Do not redraw, crop, stretch, rotate, recolour, animate or combine the certificate, wordmark, open hexagon or badge with another symbol. Do not remove the certificate code, validity information, registered or trademark symbol, border, company identity or required disclaimer.
Maintain legibility, contrast, clear space and the approved relationship between the dark-brown #1A1416 and gold #C3994D palette. A background must not make the mark appear filled, closed or materially different from the approved open-hexagon form.
05 · Verification
The public record controls
A screenshot, printed certificate or downloaded file can become outdated. The corresponding public company profile is the authoritative record of current certification status. The certificate code and company name must remain readable where included.
Proven may request a sample or correction where use could confuse the public. Reasonable correction requests must be completed promptly.
06 · End of permission
Expiry, suspension or withdrawal
When certification expires, is suspended or withdrawn, or permission otherwise ends, the company must immediately stop new publication and remove claims and digital marks from channels it controls as soon as reasonably practicable and no later than five business days after notice, unless Proven confirms a different period in writing.
Previously distributed physical materials must not be reused or reprinted. Proven may preserve the historical status in its verification record to prevent an old certificate from being presented as current.
07 · Approval
Ask before making a new format
For campaign, partner, media, event, merchandise or other uses not clearly covered here, request written approval from info@provencompanies.com before publication. Use is also subject to the applicable Certification Service Terms.
